*What is a Pre-order?

受注予約とは何？

A pre-order item means that you will have to pay for the item right now to reserve your item which will be shipped once the production is finished and the items are ready for shipping.

受注予約商品とは、お客様が事前に予約と料金の支払いをしていただき、商品が完成し次第、お客様の元にお届けするという商品です。

Why are the funky and cool tabi shoes represented in the site are not readily available? Why are they being pre-ordered?

なぜファンキーでクールな足袋がいつも手に入らないのか？ なぜ受注予約を始めたのか？

Basically, our aim is to be able to produce limited versions of our concept tabi shoes that meets our Japonista and Coolturism standards and currently the only way for us to economically keep the prices reasonable and low for our pioneer release models is thru this method.

In addition to that, our design process in aligned with the 4 season cycle of Japan and our material availabilities which changes and varies from season to season, thus, to be able to produce them invidually in a batch production process, we need to fill in the limited numbers and orders so that we can enjoy to release in a seasonal period and cycle new designs and styles to suit your fashion and needs. We cater to the hungry Japonista, those who want to be standing out from the crowd and not worry about being chased upon by having our precious and limitedly-produced shoes.

Pre-order Schedule:

1) The Psychedic Ninja Plain Series - namely: Yellow (Okinawa), Pink (Kawaii Pink) and Blue (Aoi Sora) models will be ready for shipment by the 2nd week of  December. It estimated that you will be receiving it before the end of the year, depending on your local postal office schedule and year-end regulations. (Sizes 26.0 and 31.0 cm is not offered for this series)

Likewise, due to differences in actual monitor color resolution to viewers of this listing, please be guided that the actual textile and color that will be used for this plain series shall be the following: (The textile is actually thicker than as shown in the model pictures)

2) The Samourai Kamon Series - namely: Nikko (Black and White), Kyoto (Gray and Blue), Kamakura (Red and Black) shall be manufactured by early next year due to our production line tight and busy schedule after the Plain-series is finished. It will be scheduled to ship out between February and March 2010. However, there are chances that we can ship out earlier than this, we will inform all clients and keep you updated regarding our production schedule changes from time to time.
